We had an appointment for a minor recall and to install chips for the vehicle's heated seats. Service was accomplished in a timely manner and to complete satisfaction. As normal, Draalles service department did an outstanding job.

On 1-16-23, I had an appointment for an oil change and rotation for my 2020 Silverado at Dralle Chevrolet in Peotone, IL. The service advisor informed me that I needed an alignment and that my oil pan was leaking. The oil pan repair was covered under warranty. The quoted time for the repairs was one day. I made the appointment for 1-20 and took a day off of work. I dropped the vehicle off Thursday night so my wife could pick me up. I received a call around 10am on Friday 1-20 from the same service advisor and she stated that she quoted me the wrong amount of time it would take to complete the repairs and that she would need another day which would put me without a vehicle all weekend until Monday. I said no problem and I would just need a vehicle. I was informed from the service advisor that she did not have any vehicles available and there was nothing that they could do. I was upset so I decided to get off the phone. I called back to speak with a manager and I spoke with the same service advisor and I asked if there was someone else I could speak with. I was transferred to Dan Dralle and he told me that there were no vehicles available for my use. I asked for any used vehicle, I did not care what it was, I needed something. Mr. Dralle informed me that I could contact Hertz and GM would reimburse me for roughly 35-42 dollars a day, I do not recall the exact number but that was the ballpark. Mr. Dralle offered to call and then he said it would be better if I called because they are always told by Hertz they do not have any vehicles. The Dealer did offer to take me to Hertz to pickup a vehicle which I thought was helpful, but there was not a vehicle available to rent at the location. Once again, I was without a vehicle all weekend and I had obligations to fulfill. I called on Monday, 1-23 around 11 am to request a time my vehicle would be done. The service advisor was on lunch and I was told to expect a call back within the hour. I called again at 1:15 to request a time I can pick up my vehicle and I was told 5:00 PM. I received a call roughly 15 minutes later and I was told my vehicle would not be done until Tuesday 1-24. Keep in mind the original quote repair time was 7-8 hours, 1 day. This is by far the worst dealership experience I have had in my life. I was upset when I was quoted the wrong time, but mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is that the dealership did not even attempt to fix their mistake other than stating call Hertz but you call because they always tell us they don't have any vehicles. The blatant disrespect, lack of understanding of the inconvenience of the situation, and overall lack of concern from this dealership is infuriating. There is no way that this can be a proper business practice or anyway to treat a customer. I cannot logically think of a reason a business would treat someone like this other than doing it intentionally or just the overall lack of mental capacity to understand the disrespect in this situation. Honestly, whatever the reason why I was treated in such a way is just sad.
